Job summary

The Fresh Market Inc. is seeking a Deli Specialist to uphold deli department standards, ensure product freshness, and support merchandising and promotions. You will help maintain inventory accuracy, rotate stock, and present items appealingly to guests while maintaining food safety.

You will partner with leadership on ordering, receive shipments, and ensure quality across all deli items, contributing to a welcoming guest experience and a high-performing department.

Qualifications

• Retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations experience.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deli products meet freshness and quality standards, with proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, with proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Support guest engagement and department readiness for promotions and seasonal events.
• Follow all policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.
