The Fresh Market is seeking a Deli Specialist to uphold deli department excellence, ensure product freshness, and maintain merchandising accuracy. You will support inventory integrity, rotation, and promotions while delivering friendly guest service and adhering to food safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year in retail or hospitality, strong detail orientation, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability is required for this role at our Knoxville location.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deli products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Follow all policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.
