Job summary

The Fresh Market in Farragut, TN is seeking a Deli Specialist passionate about food and guest experience. You will ensure deli department excellence, maintain product freshness, rotate stock, and uphold food safety standards to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

You will support inventory accuracy, coordinate with leadership on ordering, participate in promotions, and engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all deli products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Follow all policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.
