Job summary

The role requires 0–1 years of retail grocer experience and the ability to work evenings for about 20 hours per week, with a minimum age of 18. Training provided for product details and procedures.

Qualifications

• Physical endurance to lift up to 80-85 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in temperature-controlled areas.
• Clear, effective communication with customers and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills to fulfill orders accurately and timely.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow store policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the deli counter, sharing information on products and promotions.
• Rotate products using FIFO to ensure freshness.
• Take orders for sliced meats, cheeses, and deli items, ensuring accuracy.
• Slice, weigh, and package deli items per customer preferences and store policy.
• Maintain cleanliness in deli prep and service areas to health standards.
• Adhere to food safety and proper storage/handling requirements.
