Job summary

Adams Hometown Markets in the United States is seeking a Deli Clerk to prepare and serve deli products, assist customers, and keep the deli area clean and organized.

You will greet customers, weigh and package meats and cheeses, ensure accurate labeling and prices, and follow health and safety guidelines.

The role is part-time, up to 25 hours per week, with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays, paying 17.00 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 80-85 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Clear verbal communication with teammates and leadership.
• Ability to prioritize orders and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the deli counter, provide information on products and promotions.
• Rotate products using FIFO to sell older items first.
• Take orders for sliced meats and cheeses with accuracy.
• Slice, weigh, and package deli items per customer preferences and store policies.
• Maintain cleanliness in deli prep and service areas per health regulations.
• Ensure correct pricing and labeling of all deli items.
