The Fresh Market is seeking a Deli Specialist to uphold deli department excellence, ensure product freshness, and maintain presentation and safety standards. You will support inventory accuracy and engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach, contributing to a welcoming shopping experience.

This role requires 1+ year of retail or hospitality experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deli products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Follow all policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.
