Job summary

Weis Markets is hiring a friendly store associate to join our deli team. You will keep service areas stocked and attractive, greet customers, answer questions, and help resolve concerns in a polite manner, while complying with company recipes and safety policies.

You will prepare ready-to-eat foods, operate slicing equipment as needed, assist with cash register duties and inventory, and support teammates across departments. Training is provided to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps deli service areas stocked and appealing and greets customers.
• Rotates merchandise and ensures correct prices and signs.
• Operates slicing equipment to prepare meats and cheeses per order.
• Prepares ready-to-eat foods and platters for customers.
• May operate cash register and handle transactions.
• Follows safety policies and sanitation guidelines.
• Assists with inventory control and logs; supports team learning.
• Assists in other departments as needed; uses PPE per policy.
• Maintains neat, clean work areas meeting OSHA standards.
