Responsibilities

• Keeps deli service areas stocked and welcoming for customers.
• Smiles, greets customers, answers questions, and resolves concerns promptly and politely.
• Ensures freshness and correct pricing on merchandise and rotates stock as needed.
• Prepares ready-to-eat foods and platters per customer orders; uses knives/slicing equipment safely.
• Operates cash register and follows money-handling policies; observes tobacco/alcohol sale laws.
• Maintains department sanitation, cleans work areas, and follows OSHA requirements.
• Assists with receiving and stocking deliveries; participates in inventory control as needed.
• Complies with PPE requirements and safety guidelines; supports other departments when required.
