Dierbergs Markets, Inc. is seeking a Cook Full-Time for the Deli/Seafood team. The role focuses on cooking and also includes deli duties. You will work in a warm kitchen, operate multiple cooking and slicing devices, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include following SAFE food handling guidelines, maintaining product quality, and supporting party tray orders and daily prep. Ability to work weekends/holidays is required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures/guidelines.
• Read and locate basic information from food specifications books, follow recipes, charts, invoices, and temperature gauges
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule that includes weekends and holidays

Responsabilités

• Cook products in a warm kitchen with temperatures up to 500 degrees.
• Follow safe food handling guidelines per SAFE program standards.
• Maintain temperatures and avoid cross-contamination during production and storage.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and adherence to safety standards.
• Learn and promote our deli and seafood products.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operate and clean equipment safely per training, including slicers, fryers, ovens, rotisseries, and cases.
• Prepare party tray orders and weigh/label products.
• Rotate products and check expiration dates.
