Brookshire Brothers, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Deli Sales Clerk to maintain the deli area and handle sales transactions. You will greet customers and prepare deli items such as sandwiches and salads.

Training is provided and a strong emphasis on friendly service is expected in this role. Be prepared to unload deli supplies, promote deli products, and work additional shifts as needed. The position requires the ability to lift up to fifty pounds and perform duties directed by management to

A Deli Sales Clerk is responsible for preparing and maintaining the deli area along with handling sales transactions with the customer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLES

• Display outstanding customer service skills by greeting customers, and providing friendly, courteous service at all times. Display this same courtesy to co-workers as well.
• Be professional in appearance and demeanor.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads and other deli items.
• Promote all deli items by conversations with the customer and displaying deli products in a clean and orderly manner. Unload trucks with deli supplies.
• Be willing and able to work additional shifts other than what is posted on weekly schedule.
• Be willing and able to perform other duties as assigned such as general cleaning, custodial duties, and other activities as directed by management.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE -

The store will provide necessary training. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. All other physical requirements will be discussed during the interview process.
