Job summary

Brookshire Brothers in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a deli team member to greet customers, prepare sandwiches and salads, and promote deli products. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and will involve unloading deli supplies and supporting the team with additional shifts as needed.

The store will provide necessary training; interview will cover all physical requirements and duties to ensure readiness for the deli department.

• Prepare sandwiches, salads and other deli items.
• Promote all deli items by conversations with the customer and displaying deli products in a clean and orderly manner. Unload trucks with deli supplies.
• Be willing and able to work additional shifts other than what is posted on weekly schedule.
• Be willing and able to perform other duties as assigned such as general cleaning, custodial duties, and other activities as directed by management.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE – The store will provide necessary training. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. All other physical requirements will be discussed during the interview process.
