Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable.
• Have an outgoing, friendly demeanor with the ability to interact with customers.
• Be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Be able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the deli area.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing fresh, healthy options by preparing fresh meals.
• Provide high-level customer service and ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment including slicers, ovens, and scales according to standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe deli area and equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for accuracy and quality.
