The role requires reliability, friendly customer service, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. You will operate deli equipment and maintain a clean, safe workspace while following health regulations.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in grocery/restaurant or related field.
• Be dependable and reliable.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude toward customers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills; ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. for up to 4 hours.
• Stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Maintain clean and sanitary deli area and equipment.
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory requirements; obtain Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing healthy options by preparing fresh and easy meals.
• Ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, displayed, and clean.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves, and other deli equipment safely.
• Keep deli area clean, safe, and sanitary.
• Receive and log products for accuracy and quality.
