Job summary

Three Bears Alaska, Inc. is seeking a Deli PIC to run the deli department in our Big Lake store.

You will prepare and display ready-to-eat items, order products for sales, schedule and supervise team members, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation and temperatures, rotating stock, merchandising, operating deli equipment, and delivering prompt customer service.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete forklift certification and maintain certification.
• Reworks display case to assess daily production needs and rotates product.
• Determines merchandising plan, product selection, and order quantities to optimize sales.
• Determines product quality for markdowns and culling to minimize shrink.
• Stores and rotates stock.
• Brings cases of product from cooler to display.
• Cleans and sanitizes area throughout the day.
• Complies with health code, proper temperatures, product rotation and exp dates.
• Packages, wraps, weighs and labels product per guidelines.
• Operates oven, dishwasher, scale, and slicing machines.
• Follows safety and security procedures.
• Prepares hot food.
• Proofs, rolls, shapes and bakes items such as chicken and hot dogs.
• Provides prompt and courteous customer service, including special orders.
• Clears and sanitizes machines, surfaces, floors, pans and counters.
• Stages ingredients and refills dispensing machines.
• Projects sales and schedules labor to standards.
• Operates cash registers, handheld scanners, computer and printer.
• Assists with front end duties and other departments as necessary.
• Performs other functions as necessary.
