Job summary

PCC Community Markets is hiring a Deli Manager for the West Seattle location. The role oversees deli department operations, staffing, scheduling, budgeting, inventory, and gross profit targets while coaching deli staff to deliver outstanding customer service.

The position requires strong leadership, adherence to food safety standards, and the ability to transfer between PCC locations as needed. Evening and weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service.
• Experience in managing high-volume food service, including prepared and specialty foods.
• Awareness of health and safety codes and ability to maintain compliance.
• Strong production cooking, recipe development, and kitchen management experience.
• Ability to organize and plan effectively.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

• Participates in Store Operations Committee (SOC).
• Manages deli department operations.
• Ensures compliance with all food safety requirements.
• Maintains schedule within budget restrictions.
