Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager in Seattle to lead one of the store’s busiest teams. You will support the Deli Manager in daily operations, ensure top-notch customer service, and drive product quality from production to sale.

The role requires a strong background in deli/food service, supervisory experience, effective communication, and a commitment to food safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with at least 2 years supervisory experience in deli or related food service
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to take and give direction
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with customer interaction
• Demonstrated leadership to build and motivate staff; manage reports and sales goals
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Maintain Food Safety certification and comply with safety and sanitation standards
• Strong organization and planning; ability to multitask and prioritize
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long periods
• Operates deli equipment and maintains it in safe condition

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit
• Oversee ordering and inventory controls; supervise the Deli team
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning and teamwork
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality products and exceptional customer service
• Involve in hiring, training, and developing the Deli staff
• Unload deliveries and maintain deli equipment; ensure safety compliance
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
