You will also manage inventory, vendor relations, and product rotation, while maintaining sanitation and safety. A ServSafe credential and a valid driver's license are required or may be waived by the Deli Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising deli/food service operations.
• Ability to lead teams and ensure safety and sanitation.
• ServSafe certification (may be waived by Deli Operations Manager), and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store manager with supervision, expenses, and inventory control.
• Model professionalism and teamwork in customer service and store operations.
• Conduct new employee orientation and ongoing training.
• Perform daily walk-throughs and delegate tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain deli inventories, prepare items, and uphold safety and sanitation standards.
• Check deli vendors, receive orders, and manage product rotation and freshness.
• Complete ServSafe certification and maintain driving record as required.
