Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a dedicated team member for our deli/food preparation area in Enola, PA. You will help prepare and stock deli items, assist customers, and maintain high sanitation and safety standards across the department.

Ideal candidates are authorized to work in the U.S., capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and committed to regular attendance and safety training, including ongoing food-safety certification. This role supports a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to understand safety regulations and policies.
• Must complete a food safety certification every 5 years and teach new team members its importance.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Regular attendance to meet performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule at start of shift and prepare with required PPE and supplies.
• Perform markdowns and track loss; maintain cleanliness of surfaces, equipment, and display cases.
• Prepare and portion deli items; make sandwiches, pizza, and other items per SOP; assist customers.
• Stock and organize products; handle chicken parts and roasting processes; maintain sanitation and safety procedures.
• Record temperature and sanitation logs; organize cooler and freezer and assist in weekly circular planning.
