Refuel Operating Company, LLC seeks a Deli Manager to lead deli operations, uphold food safety and company standards, and drive clean, customer-focused service in our store. This role requires flexible availability and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

You will manage inventory, control food costs, coach staff, and analyze sales data to improve profitability while adhering to safety policies and shift scheduling. The position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with or understanding of managing a team in a retail environment.
• Ability to read store reports and use them to drive change.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with a friendly attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team that delivers friendly, efficient, and high-quality service.
• Oversee deli operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory levels, ordering, and waste control to meet financial goals.
• Analyze sales and financial data to identify opportunities and profitability.
• Ensure food quality, freshness, and proper product presentation at all times.
• Recruit, train, and coach team members to achieve performance and service standards.
• Schedule and supervise deli staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency.
• Maintain vendor relationships and verify order accuracy and product quality.
• Support a clean, safe, and compliant work environment with regular inspections.
• Model professional behavior and uphold company policies; perform additional duties as needed.
