Job summary

Price Chopper in Morristown, Vermont is seeking a Deli Associate to provide fast, friendly service and maintain a clean, efficient deli. You will assist with daily operations, inventory, pricing, and food preparation including Roaster Chicken items.

Responsibilities include merchandising, scheduling support, and ensuring sanitation standards are met. Prior experience in a grocery deli is preferred; must be at least 18 and able to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and basic literacy.
• Familiarity with basic computer tasks and POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful service to Price Chopper customers.
• Assist deli manager with day-to-day operation including scheduling, inventory and finances.
• Merchandise deli products with pricing, rotation and displays.
• Prepare in-store made prepared foods and Roaster Chicken program items.
• Operate deli equipment (scales, slicers) and maintain logs and cleanliness.
• Stock deli warehouse orders and maintain efficiency standards.
