Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Deli Manager to ensure hot and cold foods are prepared and displayed to company standards. You will oversee deli staff, drive department sales and customer service, and manage daily operations to meet profitability goals.

We value leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. The role requires strong communication, the ability to train staff, and availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two+ years of related experience preferred.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Manager Food Safety certification preferred; training provided.

Responsabilités

• Interviews, hires, trains and develops deli partners; plan and direct work; evaluate performance.
• Review historical data to predict sales from ads and promotions; manage inventory and stock levels.
• Oversee inventory checks on trucks; ensure accurate ordering and paperwork.
• Responsible for deli sales, labor, and profitability objectives.
• Enforce food safety standards and rotate dated products.
• Plan work priorities and allocate tasks for self and team.
• Assist with slicing, packaging, labeling, catering and delivery orders.
• Maintain clean, safe, sanitary workspace following safety procedures.
• Provide friendly customer service by answering questions and taking orders.
