Brookshire Grocery Company seeks a Deli Manager to lead the deli department at the Sweetwater store. You will oversee deli personnel, manage daily operations, and drive sales and customer service excellence.

The role requires strong knowledge of deli operations, food safety, staff scheduling, and inventory management. Experience in a retail environment, flexibility to work nights and weekends, and a commitment to quality are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age required.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with policy.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Manager Food Safety certification required.

Responsabilités

• Ensures hot and cold foods are prepared and displayed in accordance with Company standards; oversees deli personnel; and promotes department sales and profits, and customer service.
• Reviews historical data to predict future sales from ads and promotions; manages inventory using item management processes to ensure in-stock levels; reviews profit/loss, sales, shrink, and labor data and reports to upper management.
• Checks inventory on trucks, unloads products, and ensures accuracy of inventory, product ordering, and paperwork.
• Accountable for deli sales, labor, and meeting financial and profitability objectives.
• Enforces quality control and food safety standards and ensures dated products are stocked and rotated properly.
• Maintains safe, sanitary environment; greets customers and assists with orders by phone and in person.
