Food and Thought 2 in Naples, FL is seeking a Deli Lead to supervise a team during shifts and support the Manager. You’ll manage deli operations, ensure high food quality, and provide exceptional customer service while modeling strong leadership and teamwork.

Responsibilities include training staff, coordinating prep, maintaining safety and cleanliness, merchandising deli items, and ensuring products are rotated and displayed attractively for customers.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and lead a team of deli associates, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient workflow and adequate coverage during operating hours.
• Coordinate and oversee the preparation, cooking, and packaging of various deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, and other ready-to-eat foods.
• Ensure that food products are prepared and presented according to established standards for quality, freshness, and visual appeal.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and minimize waste.
• Maintain a strong focus on food safety and hygiene standards, following all health codes and regulations.
• Address any customer concerns or complaints regarding food quality promptly and professionally.
• Arrange and display deli products in an attractive and organized manner, using effective merchandising techniques.
• Regularly rotate and replenish products to maintain freshness and visual appeal.
• Monitor product expiration dates and remove items that have surpassed their shelf life.
• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensuring refrigeration is at proper temperatures
