Job summary

Global Partners LP in Massachusetts is seeking a Food Service Supervisor / Deli Lead to direct all activities in the deli and food service department and drive merchandising, sales and guest service goals.

You will onboard and coach new team members, schedule shifts, ensure food safety compliance, order supplies, oversee prep and display of items, and handle checkout duties within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and/or evenings.
• 2 years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a managerial role.
• Reliable transportation and an active driver's license.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Walk-in coolers and freezers experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel toward goals and coordinate with store management.
• Schedule all team members and onboard/coaching new staff.
• Oversee deli/food service prep, merchandising and display to meet standards.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and pricing compliance across the department.
• Process transactions and manage inventory, ordering and paperwork.
