Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/Deli Lead to direct all activities in the deli and food service department. You will manage personnel, ensure safety, and maintain product quality while driving sales and guest satisfaction.

The role requires experience in fresh foods, leadership skills, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. Competitive pay and benefits are part of the package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2 years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a managerial role.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in walk-in coolers and freezers.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel and coordinate with store management to meet goals.
• Select, onboard, and coach new team members; schedule all staff.
• Provide product information, sales suggestions, and maintain customer service standards.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely and satisfactory completion.
• Oversee deli/food service prep, merchandising, and safety compliance.
• Monitor pricing, signage, and shelf tags to maximize sales.
• Receive, count, and store merchandise; manage inventory and paperwork.
• Handle cash register transactions and ensure accuracy in pricing.
