Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/ Deli Lead to direct and supervise all activities in the deli and food service department. The role includes managing staff, scheduling, coaching, and ensuring guest satisfaction with accurate product preparation and merchandising.

The position emphasizes adherence to food safety guidelines, inventory management, and daily operation of breakfast, lunch, dinner entrees, and related items. Weekend/evening shifts required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• 2 years prior experience in a fresh food's environment preferably in managerial role.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Work in walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Stand for long periods of time, bend and twist below waist, and frequently lift and/or maneuver merchandise and supplies, as well as reaching above shoulder height.
• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel, meeting department's goals and objectives, communicating with store management.
• On-board and coach new team members.
• Schedule all team members.
• Oversee deli/food service item preparation and merchandising.
• Process cash register transactions and ensure correct pricing and labeling.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas and equipment.
