Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor / Deli Lead to supervise all activities in the deli and food service department, directing staff to achieve merchandising, sales and guest service goals.

The role requires managing daily operations, coaching team members, scheduling shifts, and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines. A high school diploma (or equivalent) and 2 years in fresh foods, preferably in a supervisory role, are desired.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• 2 years prior experience in a fresh foods environment preferably in managerial role.
• Reliable transportation and an active driver’s license.
• Serv-safe certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Work in walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Stand for long periods and handle equipment (knives, slicers, ovens).

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel to meet goals and communicate with store management.
• On-board and coach new team members; schedule all team members.
• Process guest orders and ensure timely completion to guest satisfaction.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and inventory controls.
• Oversee deli/food service prep, merchandising, and pricing accuracy.
• Rotate and restock deli items; follow recipes and merchandising guidelines.
• Complete paperwork, cash transactions, and POS duties.
• Maintain clean, safe work spaces and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
