Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Deli Lead to oversee deli operations, ensure product quality, and optimize inventory management. A valid ServSafe Food Safety Certification is required and BJ's covers related costs for training.

With a focus on service excellence, you will help maintain club standards, support inventory audits, and contribute to a premium Member experience through accurate product handling and timely replenishment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in deli operations, food handling, or grocery retail.
• Strong knowledge of deli preparation processes, food safety guidelines, and sanitation requirements.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications including MS Word, Excel, and Email.

Responsibilities

• Lead Deli Department Operations: maintain deli standards and high-quality prepared foods.
• Manage Inventory Proactively: ensure product availability with timely replenishment.
• Accurate Item Labeling: ensure items are priced and labeled correctly.
• Sanitation and Safety Compliance: follow ServSafe guidelines and cold-chain procedures.
• Seasonal Promotion Execution: implement promos and merchandising per guidelines.
• Maintain regular attendance and provide reliable club support.
