Reports to: Deli Manager

As a Deli Kitchen Manager, you'll oversee deli kitchen operations, manage inventory and food quality, and drive production decisions to meet guest demand. Job Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver Outstanding Guest Experiences: Create memorable experiences by recognizing and responding to guests’ needs, making them feel valued.
  • Lead and Develop Your Team: Train, support, and motivate deli kitchen associates, provide feedback, and foster high performance and retention.
  • Ensure High-Quality Standards: Monitor recipe execution, food safety, and presentation quality.
  • Oversee Deli Operations: Manage inventory, vendor orders, food rotation, and temperature control.
  • Collaborate and Encourage Teamwork: Lead by example, promote cooperation, and work closely with store and support office staff.
  • Drive Production Decisions: Analyze sales reports and adjust production levels to meet demand efficiently.
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Organization: Keep work areas, shelving, and the sales floor clean and sanitized.
  • Honor Commitments: Maintain regular attendance and communicate absences promptly.
  • Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 3 years in leadership roles, including at least 1 year in retail grocery, restaurant, or food service management.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication in fast-paced environments.
  • Attention to Detail: Focus on quality, safety, and inventory management.
  • Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to apply safety training.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands include standing for long periods, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to extreme temperatures. Reasonable accommodations can be provided for individuals with disabilities.

Work Schedule

This full-time position includes weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts.
