Job Title: Deli Kitchen Manager

Reports to: Deli Manager

Lead our deli kitchen operations, manage inventory and food quality, and develop your team in a positive environment. If you’re passionate about food, leadership, and service, this is your opportunity to grow your career and make an impact.

External Job Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver Outstanding Guest Experiences: Create memorable experiences by recognizing and responding to guests’ needs.
  • Lead and Develop Your Team: Train, support, and inspire deli associates, providing ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Ensure High-Quality Standards: Monitor recipe execution, shrinkage, and quality control to maintain high standards.
  • Oversee Deli Operations: Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper food handling and presentation.
  • Collaborate and Encourage Teamwork: Foster a positive, team-oriented environment and work closely with store and support staff.
  • Drive Production Decisions: Analyze reports and adjust production to meet guest demand efficiently.
  • Ensure Department Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a sanitized, organized work environment.
  • Honor Commitments: Maintain regular attendance and communicate absences timely.
  • Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 3 years in leadership, with 1 year in a management role in grocery, food service, or related fields.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Focus on quality, safety, and inventory accuracy.
  • Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to apply safety training.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in temperature extremes. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.

Work Schedule

Full-time position, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
