Lowes Foods in Mooresville, NC is seeking a friendly deli associate to provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced food department environment. You will greet guests, handle product prep, sampling, and keep the deli area clean and organized.

You'll work with teammates to maintain freshness, follow safety standards, and support front-end operations to minimize wait times. This role emphasizes good communication, reliability, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Perform assigned duties in what can be a fast paced work environment while interacting with guests and team members.
• Explain product available in specific area (ingredients, flavors, menu items).
• Actively provide samples to guests and explain offering as needed.
• Efficiently prepare product for sale (frying, cutting, slicing, weighing, pricing and cooking).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness according to station guidelines.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guest requests to management and/or satisfy request in a timely manner.
• Communicate temperature and/or product breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply and work area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Maintain proper grooming and uniform standard.
• Performs front end duties to insure “no noticeable wait” standard is maintained.
• Announce specials and sale info on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
