Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk in Vermont to manage deli and food service daily operations, ensuring sanitation, product quality, and guest service across the store. You will learn to operate registers, scales, and prep items for hot and cold cases.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, flexibility for weekend/holiday shifts, and ability to lift up to 25 pounds; ServSafe certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Vocational or Technical Education.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions, giving back change and refunds.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Read UPC codes, product labels, shelf signage, and posted company policies/procedures.
• Prepare, wrap, box, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service products.
• The preparation and cooking of deli and food service items, including hot and cold beverages and prepared meals.
• Take guest orders and ensure orders are completed on time and to guest satisfaction.
