Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a deli associate to prepare and display deli items, assist with catering, and support sales goals. You will work closely with management and partners to maintain inventory and food quality, while delivering friendly customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year related experience, and Food Handler certification. 18+ to apply, 21+ to drive; includes company safety and training programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1+ year related experience.
• Minimum of 18 years of age; Partners must be 21+ to drive for company business.
• Food Handler certification and Manager Food Safety certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hot and cold foods are prepared and displayed per standards.
• Train and develop Partners; schedule, plan, and direct work with management.
• Review sales data, promos, and co-manage inventory to maintain in-stock levels.
• Promote sales through attractive displays and suggestive selling.
• Greet customers, answer questions, take orders by phone and in person.
• Maintain clean, safe, sanitary work and shopping environment following procedures.
