Smith's Food & Drug Centers is seeking a dedicated deli department professional to deliver outstanding customer service, maintain a safe, clean environment, and help achieve department goals. You will monitor all deli duties, uphold quality standards and safety practices, and collaborate with store leadership on promotions and budgeting.

Ideal candidates will possess strong communication, basic math skills, and the ability to work well under pressure, with a current food handlers permit required

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a retail deli environment.
• Current food handlers permit required once employed.

Responsabilités

• Monitor deli department functions and activities.
• Demonstrate Smith's Food & Drug Centers' core values: respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
• Provide outstanding customer service to encourage repeat visits.
• Establish department performance goals and create promotions in partnership with store management.
• Assist management with budgeting, inventory, pricing changes, and CAO processes.
