Job summary

Albertsons Companies seeks an enthusiastic food service team member for the delicatessen department. You will mentor crew, prepare salads, charcuterie and entrées, and maintain displays while ensuring freshness and quality.

You will lead daily huddles, assist with ordering and scheduling, and uphold safety and sanitation standards in a kitchen environment. A strong communicator with MSP office skills and customer focus is essential.

Qualifications

• Department operations knowledge or equivalent education to understand each position.
• Willingness to taste and evaluate delicatessen products.
• Ability to follow knife handling and food service procedures.
• Strong work ethic and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communicator with guests, crew and management.
• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a State Food Handler Permit.

Responsibilities

• Mentor food service crew to educate and sell in-store delicatessen products.
• Prepare delicatessen items: salads, entrées, charcuterie, and roasted chicken.
• Lead planning, coaching, scheduling and basic discipline as needed.
• Lead daily team huddles to share goals andGuest service expectations.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and stock organization across storage areas.
• Maintain freshness, proper displays and merchandise rotation.
• Support POS maintenance and product knowledge across departments.
• Ensure clean, safe, and sanitary work area and equipment.
