Coborn's in Mitchell, SD is hiring a Deli Department Assistant Manager to support the Deli Department Manager in operating a successful department and ensuring remarkable guest service at the deli counter. This role requires a self-starter who assists with slicing, weighing, packaging and labeling of deli items as needed.

The position also involves accurate recordkeeping, customer service, inventory, shrink, and training and supervision of staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Department Manager in all functions of operating the department.
• Ensure guests receive remarkable service at the deli counter.
• Assist with slicing, weighing, packaging, and labeling of deli items.
• Direct staff when in charge of the department; manage workload.
• Provide training and evaluate staff performance; supervise as needed.
• Maintain accurate records; manage inventory and shrink; rotate stock to ensure freshness.
