Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to help supervise one of the store’s busiest teams and guide daily operations. You will focus on customer service, product quality, and efficient department management.

You will assist in staffing, training, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines while driving productivity and profitability in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with 2 years supervisory experience and strong deli/food service knowledge.
• Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team-oriented and customer-focused.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with the ability to interact with customers and take orders.
• Proven leadership to motivate staff and manage margins, sales, and reports.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Possess a Food Safety certification and comply with safety regulations.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long periods; operate deli equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Manager in supervising and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and Deli team supervision.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Help lead a team to deliver high-quality products and superior customer service.
• Assist in hiring, training, and development of the Deli team.
