Kroger Family of Companies in Arvada, CO seeks an engaged Deli Associate to create outstanding customer experiences and maintain a safe, clean department environment. You will help achieve sales and profit goals and support associates across daily operations with a focus on quality and customer service.

Responsibilities include supervising and training staff, assisting with promotions, inventory and budgeting, and ensuring食品 safety and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Current food handlers permit once employed.
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Some management experience is desirable.
• Deli/retail experience is beneficial.
• Second language skills are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Promote trust and respect among associates with a positive attitude.
• Communicate information to associates about company, department and job specifics.
• Establish department performance goals and empower teams to meet targets.
• Develop scheduling to manage customer volume.
• Train associates on performance and participate in appraisals.
• Create welcoming environment and answer product questions for customers.
• Inform customers of produce specials and offer samples.
• Review quality and freshness and act as needed.
• Create and implement a department business plan to achieve results.
• Coordinate sales promotions with store management.
• Educate associates on promotions and in-store events.
• Prepare seasonal critiques for sales/merchandising supervisor.
• Assist in budgeting, expense control and P&L reviews.
• Schedule price changes and update shelf tags.
• Plan inventory processes and train staff on CAO.
• Ensure proper temperatures and maintain logs.
• Enforce safety programs and report issues or incidents.
• Adhere to laws and company guidelines.
• Handle conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Maintain honesty and integrity in customer/business info.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Provide support to minors, seniors, or individuals with special needs.
