Job summary

Super 1 Foods in Montana is seeking a deli department supervisor to oversee daily operations, including inventory, pricing, merchandising, and labor safety rules.

You will train new staff, schedule work to maximize sales and gross profit, and supervise ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and displays while upholding sanitation and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with department inventory, pricing and merchandising.
• Ability to manage labor and safety rules in a deli department.
• Capable of training new department employees on equipment and safety.

Responsibilities

• Order products and supplies and schedules work to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Ensure that all new department employees receive proper training and safety instruction on all equipment in the deli
• Supervision to ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage and rotation of merchandise, and building of displays
• Responsible for a variety of other tasks in the store, as well as, making sure that all employees are meeting safety standards for operation.
• Adhere to strict standards of sanitation, food safety and personal hygiene.
