Responsibilities include slicing and weighing deli items, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring accurate handling of promotions and safety policies. The position requires at least 18 years old, the ability to lift 40 pounds, and basic English reading and math

Qualifications

• No minimum educational requirement
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts (pounds/weight)
• Ability to read, write, analyze and understand English
• Regular standing, walking, bending and manual dexterity
• Vision requirements (close/distance/color) and focus adjustment

Responsibilities

• Greets and serves customers and thanks them upon satisfaction
• Slices and weighs deli meats and cheeses per customer requests
• Maintains and stocks all designated department areas
• Cleans department equipment during shifts and at close
• Keeps department areas clean and sanitary
• Sets up and tears down required areas as scheduled
• Communicates promotions to customers
• Be present at your workstation at shift start
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures
• Follows Customer Service Pledge at all times
• Maintains neat, professional appearance and dresses per policy
• Attends to attendance requirements
• Complies with Employee Handbook policies
• Performs all designated responsibilities within the department
