Job summary

Festival Foods in Onalaska, WI is hiring a Part-Time Deli Clerk to join our fast-paced retail team. The role reports to the Deli Manager and offers openings for morning (6 am–11 am) and evening (4 pm–9 pm) shifts, with at least one weekend shift per week.

Previous food/service experience is preferred, and a passion for guest satisfaction is essential. The Deli Clerk will help with food preparation, guest service, and accurate order fulfillment in a guest-centric environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide helpful service and greet guests professionally.
• Assist guests in locating items and answer calls politely.
• Receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders with attention to detail.
• Address guest concerns using the boomerang principle for a positive experience.
• Inspect and rotate deli products, maintain temperatures, and replenish items.
• Maintain deli inventory levels and supplies.
• Lead food safety logs and follow safety standards.
• Ensure quality and quantity standards by set times (10 am, 5 pm).
• Attend shifts regularly with reliable notice for absences.
• Support the team with other duties as assigned.
