Are you passionate about food service, cooking, and providing customers (guests) with delicious meal options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? We seek a Deli Clerk to play a key role in food preparation and guest service in our retail grocery environment.

At Festival Foods, we aim to make mealtime easier and more enjoyable, whether guests need a quick lunch, a side dish, dinner options, or feeding a crowd.

External Job Description

What You’ll Do:

• Provide Helpful Service: Deliver excellent guest service through friendly greetings, answering questions, and addressing concerns with professionalism and care.
• Guest Assistance: Help guests locate items and answer the Deli Department telephone professionally.
• Order Fulfillment: Receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and requests with attention to quality.
• Customer Service: Address and resolve guest concerns promptly, supporting a positive experience.
• Quality Control: Inspect, rotate, maintain proper temperatures, and replenish deli products.
• Inventory Management: Maintain proper inventory levels for supplies and deli products.
• Food Safety: Maintain safety logs and adhere to safety standards.
• Efficiency: Meet quality standards by 10 am and 5 pm daily.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular attendance and provide notice for absences.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.
