Are you passionate about food service and enjoy providing customers (we call them guests!) with delicious meal options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? We are seeking a Deli Clerk to join our retail grocery store team, where you'll play a crucial role in food preparation and guest service.

At Festival Foods, we aim to make mealtime easier and more enjoyable for our guests. Whether they need a quick lunch, a side dish, a dinner option, or feeding a crowd, our deli has them covered.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

• Provide Helpful Service: Offer excellent guest service, including greeting, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally and courteously.
• Guest Assistance: Help guests locate items and answer the deli department telephone professionally.
• Order Fulfillment: Receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and special requests with attention to detail and quality.
• Customer Service: Address and resolve guest concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience.
• Quality Control: Inspect, rotate, maintain proper temperatures, and replenish deli products to uphold high standards.
• Inventory Management: Maintain proper inventory levels and supplies in the deli.
• Food Safety: Maintain food safety logs and adhere to safety standards.
• Efficiency: Meet quality standards and quantity expectations by 10 am and 5 pm daily.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and provide notice for absences.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.
