Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd is hiring for a Service Deli Clerk in Hawai`i. This hourly role (40 hours) requires evening and weekend availability and offers a comprehensive benefits package. You will handle deli products, inform customers, and promote items to boost sales while working with fryers and slicers.

Must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and pass TB clearance; compliance with all policies is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 50 pounds.
• TB Clearance required.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, slicing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and merchandising the department’s deli products.
• Informing customers about our deli products and services.
• Help increase sales by handing out food samples and by recommending additional items to customers.
• Work with equipment like fryers and slicers and use store intercoms to announce promotions.
