Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd in Hawaii is seeking a Deli Clerk for an on-island opportunity. The role involves preparing, slicing, weighing and merchandising deli items, informing customers, and promoting products through samples and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must have TB Clearance.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

• preparing, slicing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and merchandising the department's deli products.
• informing customers about our deli products and services
• help increase sales by handing out food samples and by recommending additional items to customers
• work with equipment like fryers and slicers and use store intercoms to announce special promotions and weekly specials.
