Foodland Super Market, Ltd in Hawai‘i is seeking a part-time Deli Clerk in Waipahu. Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred; on-island candidates only. Relocation assistance is not provided.

This is an hourly position with a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities include preparing, slicing, weighing, pricing, and merchandising deli products, informing customers about items, and helping increase sales by sampling and recommending products.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must have TB Clearance.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

Responsabilités

• Preparing, slicing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and merchandising the department’s deli products.
• Informing customers about our deli products and services.
• Help increase sales by handing out food samples and by recommending additional items to customers.
• Work with equipment like fryers and slicers and use store intercoms to announce promotions.
