Foodland Super Market, Ltd in Hawaiʻi is seeking a part-time Deli Clerk. The position offers pay from $18.02/hour and an hourly benefits package, with evening and weekend availability strongly preferred.

On-island candidates only; relocation assistance is not provided. As a Deli Clerk, you will prepare, slice, wrap, weigh, price and merchandise deli items, inform customers about products, and help increase sales through samples and recommendations.

Qualifications

• High School or better.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must have TB Clearance.

Responsabilités

• Preparing, slicing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and merchandising the department’s deli products (deli meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, gourmet and hot case items).
• Informing customers about our deli products and services.
• Help increase sales by handing out food samples and by recommending additional items to customers.
• Work with equipment like fryers and slicers and use store intercoms to announce promotions and weekly specials.
