Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Deli Clerk to welcome customers and help them choose from deli meats, cheeses, hot foods, and prepared items. You will slice, assemble, and portion items while keeping service friendly and efficient.

The department must stay stocked, clean, and ready for service. The role requires ability to operate slicers safely, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accurate labeling and pricing.

Formación

• Customer service experience is essential.
• Experience preparing deli products, including slicing, assembling, and portioning.
• Knowledge of deli meats, cheeses, prepared foods, and hot case items.
• Attention to portioning, labeling, pricing, and order accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while keeping a smooth workflow.
• Keep display cases stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
• Experience handling transactions and making accurate change.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and changing customer needs.
• Comfort standing for long periods and lifting up to 35 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare deli items, including slicing meats and assembling portions.
• Stock and maintain clean, organized displays; monitor freshness and temperature.
• Operate slicers and prep equipment safely with training.
• Take orders in person or by phone; assist customers with selections.
• Process transactions and handle cash using register systems where applicable.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures throughout shift.
