Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Deli Clerk to prepare fresh foods and create a welcoming customer experience. You’ll assist with deli meats, cheeses, hot foods, and grab-and-go items while keeping the counter friendly and efficient.

You’ll also stock the department, maintain clean, organized displays, monitor freshness and temperatures, and help with orders and equipment to stay busy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate slicers and food preparation equipment following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills for weighing, portioning, and transactions.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh deli items and create a welcoming customer experience for guests.
• Slice meats, prepare grab-and-go options, and assist customers with selections.
• Keep the deli department stocked, clean, and organized with fresh items.
• Prepare hot and cold items, maintain displays, and monitor freshness and temperature.
