Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking a deli team member responsible for slicing, packaging, weighing, and selling a variety of deli items. You will maintain deli presentation and cleanliness, and assist Members with their selections in a fast-paced store environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and adherence to food safety standards, with opportunities to contribute to a positive Member experience in the deli department.

Qualifications

• Experience in a deli department preferred.
• Experience operating manual and power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to Members and answer questions about deli items.
• Slice, package, weigh deli products and assist Members with selections.
• Prepare and package special orders and party trays; sample products to aid purchasing decisions.
• Receive and inspect deli shipments; stock, rotate, and display deli items per freshness and safety policies.
• Maintain deli display cases for freshness, cleanliness, and accurate signage.
